Kirk Bio
There is a world class entity hidden for just over twenty years in the beautiful island of Barbados. Not only is he a dynamic, gifted singer, deejay, model and songwriter but also a multi-talented artiste and articulate businessman with a love and passion for music.
Kirk Brown's music career began in his days as a student of the St. Michael's Secondary School where he achieved up to Grade 5 in Music Theory (ABRSM) while playing with the high school music band and Barbados Youth Orchestra
Upon returning from Canada where he studied computer technology and business, the opportunity presented itself for Kirk to hit the stage with the band "Blaze" in the summer of 2003. However "Blaze" was short-lived and in early 2004. Kirk was invited to join the Toni Norville Band as part of the front line.
With a significant amount of experience under his belt, Kirk Brown the businessman founded "Strategy The Band" in November 2004 which has become Barbados' top nightclub band. Afterwards he has founded a recording studio (The Cottage Studios), an entertainment company (Good Vybz Inc) and Barbados' only veejay service the "Good Vybz Veejays".
Having been a nominee at the Barbados Music Awards in 2006 and 2007. Kirk exceeded his own expectations in 2008 when he copped the award for "Video of the Year- Male" with his music video "Baaby". He was also applauded for being one of the only local, soca artistes to release a video in the same year as the song for "Show Me". His latest additions "Shawty Get Low" and "Make It Right" have not disappointed the public, earning him positions in the Top 5 segment of the Roamin Series Charts for 9 weeks and 2 weeks consecutively.
Kirk Brown has carried on the band Strategy to make exceptional and insurmountable strides in the year 2009 especially during the Crop Over season where they were featured at the biggest Crop Over events including the NCF Heritage Gala, Wet Fete, Collision - Baje Block-o, 10 to 10, Glow Fete and of course Cohobblopot.
Whereas Kirk Brown is mostly seen these days pushing the first collaborated CD featuring solely Strategy The Band (produced at his own studio), it is undeniably clear that although he has what it takes to make the girls shiver, he is way more than just a gorgeous face having surrounded himself with an experienced team of A-listed executives who are in the process of making his dreams become a reality.
